Starting the day encouraged, motivated, and empowered can make all the difference and help you set the tone for how the rest of your day will go. Life constantly comes at us with uncertainties and challenges, so finding guidance and inspiration from God’s word has become a crucial part of my lifestyle.  

The Bible is filled with God’s endless wisdom and promises, and those words offer timely encouragement and much-needed strength at the right time. These are some of the scriptures that help me conquer my day, and I am confident they can help you conquer yours too.  

Philippians 4:13- Staying empowered through Jesus 

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” 

Placing our trust in God and relying on his strength, not our human power, allows us to accomplish tasks, overcome challenges, and pursue our goals confidently.  

Joshua:1 vs. 9- Embracing God’s courage and strength  

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” 

This scripture verse reminds us not to be discouraged or fearful because God walks with us everywhere we go. The assurance of his presence with you gives you the courage and strength to go about your day and face any challenge that may come.  

Psalms:118 vs. 24- Rejoice regardless 

“This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” 

Recognizing that God divinely orchestrates everything in your day will help you approach it with more peace in your heart. Do not worry about how you will accomplish your tasks for the day or the outcome of an upcoming meeting because he has already ordained it, so rejoice in the day that God has made.  

Romans:8 vs. 37- More than conquerors  

“Nay, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.” 

Through God’s love for us, we can overcome every challenge the day brings. His love empowers us to face the everyday with unwavering confidence.  

Matthew: 6 vs. 34- Live in the Present  

“Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” 

Rather than worry about what the next moment will bring, this scripture verse reminds us to live in the moment and enjoy everything we are surrounded by. Focus on what is before you today rather than worry about what tomorrow will bring.  

Proverbs: 3 vs. 6- Trusting God’s Guidance  

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” 

Acknowledging that you don’t know it all is the beginning of trust. Lean on God to direct you as you make decisions during your day, and surrender your understanding to him. If you seek clarity, guidance, and wisdom to conquer your day, this scripture reminds us to trust in and acknowledge God’s wisdom.  

These verses are constant reminders of God’s ever-present presence and his faithfulness. He cares about how your day goes, and that’s why he provides us with the confidence and courage we need to conquer it.
